b. Food and Nutrition Data
When you use MeaLens to track your meals, we process:
- Photos of meals: Temporarily processed for AI analysis, not permanently stored on our servers

- Meal metadata: Timestamps, meal names, and notes
- Favorite meals: Saved meal templates

a. Supabase (Authentication & Database)
We use Supabase to:

Important: Food photos are sent to OpenAI for processing only. According to OpenAI's API data usage policy, images sent via API are not stored or used for training their models.

- Active Accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days
